Find the IP address of your default Gateway on the PC is easy (windows 7, XP and older):

 

Click start and then run. Type cmd.exe and press enter to start the command line. When the command line has opened type in "ipconfig" (without the quotes) and press enter.

In the list that follows, look for "Default Gateway". This number is the IP gateway number (address of your router). Simples!
